| Summary | 0000197: jack sync master, playhead moves but no sound | ||||
| Description | Using Ardour/GTK 0.426.1 running with libardour 0.709.1 and jackd version 0.91.3. Set up the sync source in ardour as JACK, then start jack_transport, say 'master', then say 'play'. Playhead cursor moves in ardour, but no sound is played. say 'stop' in jack_transport, and the playhead cursor stops. Pressing play at any point in ardour starts the sound playing, but the played sound doesn't match up with the playhead cursor. | ||||

I too have had this bug, was coming here to report it - I'm using 0.9beta9 I don't know if this is connected but it seems to be: also, when running ardour by itself, I'll playback, and stop, and the playback head cursor (the red bar) doesn't match up (as described above). if you want it to rewind to zero, you have to hit the "go to end" button, then the "go to beginning" button. if you play from a certain spot with with auto return function enabled, and stop, and play again, it does play from the original spot, but the cursor doesn't return. the only way to match the cursor up again is go to end and then go to beginning. this wasn't happening when I was using beta3 or with beta8 |
