czerwinski1977, is there anything special you need to do to reproduce this? I can always get the about dialog to come up in 2.0.5 on a linux system. |

what linux distro? what desktop environment (KDE, GNOME, xfce, other) ? what window manager? |

openSUSE 10.2 KDE is 3.5.7-64.1, whis is also used as window manager |

Just tested ardour 2.8 (build 4918) under openSUSE 11.1, KDE 4.3.1, KWin 4.3.1 -- everything OK. |
