DescriptionWhen I do recording (mono), every then and now it happens that piecewise no audio data but silence is recorded.
Steps To ReproduceJust record audio. Thanks for advices how to track this problem, because this IS annoying.

This type of behaviour is a major malfunction. I very much doubt that Ardour itself is the core issue - there are thousands of users and this has never been reported before. Its more likely to something to do with your overall system configuration. Please provide a lot more information about your system so that we can get started. You will also find that dealing with problems like this is much, much, much faster if you use IRC (see http://ardour.org/support). Bug trackers and forums are a rather slow-paced environment in which to hold a conversation about this problem.
