| Description | hi, this is a feature request to have a shortcut for the function 'loop region'. we already have the binding for 'play loop range', but here it behaves like this: if there is no loop range defined in the session, i can go to a region, and activate 'loop region' via the region context menu. if i do this one time, every next time i can simply press 'l' and the region will be looped. this works also when i close the session and open again. if i create a loop region once, and than 'hide loop region', ardour will always loop that part which just was the 'loop range'. so these both functions somehow correspond which each other, it would be better (from my opinion) to have another shortcut for 'loop region'. since there is 'menu-edit-region operations', perhaps it would be easy to duplicate item from the 'region-context-play-loop region' into the main menu..region operations, so everyone can create an own shortcut for 'loop region'. else, perhaps it is easier to just make a shortcut like 'ctrl+l' or sth. for looping the region. cheers, doc | ||||
