Summary0001763: Rulers offset from tracks
DescriptionRulers are offset from the actual tracks. They seem to start half a screen (whatever the current zoom level) from the start point but the actual amount of offset does vary from zoom level to zoom level.

This means that all the markers, regions etc. do not line up with their actual locations on the tracks, and creating regions is very difficult due to the fact that ardour wants to scroll with the mouse and the ruler marker at the same time.

This occurs with newly created sessions as well as imported ones.
Additional InformationI am using:
Ardour 2.0.3 (though this also occurred with 2.0.2)
Gentoo, with gentoo-sources 2.6.21
gtk+-2.10.13

So, this is stupendously embarrassing. I don't ever remember installing a prior-to-2.0 version on this machine, so I've been blithely launching "ardour" and assuming I am up to date. Apparently I also have an executable for ardour2, which I must say looks really neat.

So, umm, how do I kill this report and erase my idiocy from the internet at least until my next dumb question?

I can't erase this report, but I can close it. So consider it closed and we'll say no more about it :) Hope you don't encounter the same problem in 2.0.
