| Description | I tried 2 plugins from http://www.smartelectronix.com/~magnus/ the Ambience reverb (test version) and the NyquistEq (old 3 band Version, since the 5 band version doesn't work at all, but that's not that important). The settings of these plugins don't get saved when restoring a session. It might be difficult with the ambience test version (there's something like a splah screen), but I think the settings of the 3 band NyquistEQ are meant to work. Some other VST Plugins work correctly. | ||||

I can confirm this. Ambience is the only plugin I've found that doesn't save settings, but setting automation (just one point) is a workaround for now. |

The very good vst reverb plugin "glaceverb" is also unusable because the parameters aren't saved (Ardour 2.3-vst). Good reverbs are needed (sorry, but the ladspa ones are just not professional for a lot of purposes), so fixing this would be very cool. http://www.dasample.com/index.php?show=glaceverb |

You may close this as I cannot longer confirm this problem. It's probably due to the instability of wine and vst, so better close this than having such an open ghost bug in the database. |
