| Description | I have made up a session using the 2-track template and imported some soundfiles. Then I inserted 1 new track (Audio 3) and dragged a soundfile from thunar to it. as I was not satisfied with the result I deleted the whole track by rightklick-delete track. Now every new track I create fails to play any sound from regions I drag to it. If I save the session, close Ardour and restart the session the track works as expected. The whole trouble is replayed, if I rename the track in question (as from Audio 3 to Blech1 ). creating a new track yields another track named Audio 3 that is dysfunctional. Leaving the name as Audio 3 allows to create new tracks (Audio 5, Audio 6 etc), that work OK. Strange enough, that Audio 4 is not used as a name for a new track. So i guess, this could be fixed in the file itself but that is sure no option for beginners... | ||||

Tested it in Revision 6529 - looks like its gone :-) I cannot find any problems in the scenario described in the initial report. I will try it some more from now on and report any issues remaining but I hope it is fixed now.... |
