| Summary | 0001573: "Maximize Editor Space" makes the *mixer* window be always-on-top; shouldn't. | ||||
| Description | The problem this creates is not obvious on systems with a single monitor, but if you run two monitors, one just for the editor and the other for the mixer + JAMin (as one example) it can become difficult and perplexing to get JAMin back to where you can manipulate it. F11 should make the editor window be always-on-top, but that property shouldn't be extended to the mixer window, or probably other child windows. Thanks! | ||||

very true, even on a single monitor, if i F11 and than choose 'playlist-select from all...' ardour is not responding any more to any commands. there are even more examples. i understood the F11 function as 'maximize editor' and not as 'keep always on top'. cheers, doc |
