DescriptionWhen using outboard hardware like real external compressors, effect units or other thingies put as inserts on ardour (attached to I/O ports from the soundcard) it would be very useful to have the chance to do a Realtime export, that is an exportthat doesn't play the session faster than realtime in order to let the outboard boxes do their job as part of the final mix.
Additional InformationIn the actual versions the onlieth way to do this is to actually record each of these outboard boxes to tracks that will later be mixed in.

Or you can play your mix normaly and record the main-out on a new stereo trak. The analog way.
