| Summary | 0001530: no sound when automting 'multiband eq' in ardourvst | ||||
| Description | i create new session, open a stereo track and import an audio file into it. than opening the mixer and connecting the 'multibandEQ' (pre or post fader, the same behavior). when i open the plugin window and unbypass them, the level-meter of the track goes up to the maximum, and freezes at that place. (this happens only if i unbypass while the transport is stopped. if the transport is rolling, the level meter is behaving normally until i stop the transport. when the transport is stopped, the level-meter freezes at a maximum value.) when the plugin is unbypassed, the sound gets about 2.8dB louder than without the plugin. when i try to automate no matter which plugin parameter, switching to the 'play' modus, the sound disappears. as soon i bypass the plugin, the sound is present again, but every time i unbypass the sound is gonne. after that, sometimes ardour will not exit safely, so i have to kill the 3 instances of ardourvst. sometimes it exit safely, but i cannot find out on what this is depending, if it will exit or no. there are two screenshot attached to the bug-report-0001489 called: ardour-editor.dmp and ardour-mixer.dmp. this bug is perhaps related to 0001489. cheers, doc | ||||

this seems to be fixed now, i am able to automate every parameter in tap-reverberator whithout having any problems, when switching the mode to 'play'. cheers, doc |

i am messing here around again!! this issue is about multiband-eq and not the tap-reverberator, don't know why i mixed this both. multiband-eq still broken in ardourvst. cheers, doc |

i am not using ardourvst for ages now and in A2 automating the multibandEQ works just good! for me, this can be closed. cheers, doc |
