| Steps To Reproduce | Begin recording a new region on a track. Drop the track out of record, switch off master record. The transport is still playing. Now click on the new region then hit the delete key. Ardour2 freezes solid. | ||||

How are you deleting the region? |

It's in the steps to reproduce line. Select the region and then use the delete key after having dis-armed all record keys, but leaving the transport running. |

My apologies, I wasn't seeing that line because of the simple view setting in Mantis :\ Confirmed in 3.0. |

Still and issue in 3.0 rev 7470. Could a simple solution be just not to let recording regions be selected ? |

i'm confused ... there is no region to select until the transport stops (at least, this is true in current SVN). so i'm unclear on how you select the region before the transport stops ... |
