| Summary | 0001442: Ardour crashes when pressing stop button | ||||
| Description | Using Jack and qjackctl, I made Ardour playing a single track while I was playing a bit around jack. When I found the right configuration, I went back to Ardour and pressed the stop button... and it crashed. Output from Jack: **** alsa_pcm: xrun of at least 6.923 msecs subgraph starting at qjackctl-6304 timed out (subgraph_wait_fd=12, status = 0, state = Finished) **** alsa_pcm: xrun of at least 477.850 msecs cannot read event response from client [ardour] (Connection reset by peer) **** alsa_pcm: xrun of at least 424.247 msecs Ardour's Out: Segmentation fault (core dumped) I'm not able to reproduce this when I want, but I noticed this happens when having xruns or when working hard on jack. It could probably be a jack issue, but I noticed Ardour is the only program that crashes this way. | ||||

Ok, I'm recompiling ardour with DEBUG=1. If I'll be able to reproduce and stacktrace it i'll post stacktrace here. |

I'm still waiting to reproduce this... since I started running ardour from gdb I wasn't able to reproduce it. |
