| Summary | 0001441: JACK latency menu shows wrong default in 2.0beta11.1 | ||||
| Description | Start JACK using an arbitrary buffer size greater than 32 frames. Start Ardour 2.0 beta 11.1 with an empty session. Navigate to the JACK -> Latency menu. The first option (32 frames) is highlighted. (Presumably the option that corresponds to the actual buffer size in use should be highlighted by default instead. btw, this feature is a right killer for Rosegarden -- RG doesn't handle buffer size changes properly, there's a nice big placeholder TODO comment in the code there instead. It pretty much gets away with it if there are no plugins and/or the buffer size is reduced, but if you increase the buffer size while plugins are instantiated in RG, there's trouble. Anyway, you didn't come here to listen to me rambling about RG bugs.) | ||||
