| Summary | 0001425: control and seq ports as 2 separate ports under one midi client or rename seq client to something other than ardour. | ||||
| Description | Simple startup scripts to connect MIDI devices don't function correctly in ardour2 due to their being 2 alsa MIDI devices both called ardour. This problem can be alleviated either by appearing under the same device (but as different ports) i.e. when issuing acconect -o they it would look like client 128: 'ardour' [type=user] 0 'control 1 'seq or client 128: 'ardour' [type=user] 0 'control ' client 129: 'ardseq' [type=user] 0 'seq cheers Allan | ||||
