| Description | Point at a region and press the 's' key. The waveform to the right of the split, visibly moves to the right a small amount and the split mark looks twice as thick as it should do. This only happens with the first split applied to a region. Any subsequent splits show a normal thin line and do not move the waveform to the right. | ||||

Actually it does a slightly different thing at different zoom levels. Sometimes the waveform moves to the left, sometimes to the right and sometimes no movement at all. Only the first split, though, causes movement. Every split after that doesn't seem to cause any movement.Change the zoom level and the symptoms change. The first split point does seem, however, to always look thicker and then subsequent ones look ok. All a bit disconcerting really. |

is this always a movement of one pixel? |

Difficult to tell really, but to my eyes the movement looks like more than one pixel. Whether it's consistently the same amount, I would say no, it seems to depend on the zoom level, but not with a fixed relationship. Zoom in, do a split, see movement. Zoom in one more level, split, no movement, zoom in again, split, there is movement. And so on. |

Just to clarify, this appears to be a visual thing only. As far as I can tell there is no audible change. |

Apparently a visual issue related to how waveforms are displayed and is to be expected. |
