| Description | My VST plugins (SIR Reverb 1011) and others (like Kjaerhouse Limiter...) will only open up once for "edit" in ardour. Next time I open the same VST plugin only the "...preset..." and bypass bottun launches. The main GUI is not drawn. | ||||

As soon as I close one of the VST GUIs all my VST GUIs gets killed. My solution is to keep all windows open - this needs to be fixed, I guess ;-) |

I'm seeing the same thing; also when editing VST plugins I get two windows: one with the Bypass button etc. in and a separate one with the actual GUI. Maybe this is something to do with XEmbed not working or something. |

the basic issue mentioned here was fixed in ardour2 svn last week. for the remaining window/2-window issue, please read http://ardour.org/building_vst_support |
