| Summary | 0001378: Metering pre / post fader | ||||
| Description | I would prefer to have the ability of swiching the track meters to a pre fader position, because otherwise they are very difficult to read / uninformative, if volume is set to a low level. Also I don“t know, why mono tracks have to have a stereo meter. I allready reported problems wit UI speed, so maybe it would be faster, if ther where less meters ?! | ||||

Meters can be changed from post to pre in the mixer using the button below the meter. Holding shift+ctrl and clicking on the button changes the meters for all tracks. The meters display as stereo when in post, if the track is feeding a stereo buss. Changing the meter to pre changes the meter to mono if the track has a mono input. i.e. the pre and post settings show a meter for each input/output, respectively, dependant on the track configuration. |

i don't believe there is anything to do here. also note that the general model of shift-ctrl-click mapping an action over all tracks applies to several other things (mute/solo/rec-enable being the most obvious) |
