| Description | Generally, the sections in the Wiki appear pretty scrambled. They clearly weren't written to be read in the order they're presented. Comparing with a copy of the 2004 PDF I happened to find on the web, the material was presented in a different order there, which wasn't perfect but made a lot more sense than the order on the Wiki. As a specific example, in the Wiki, the subsections of "Ardour Basics" apparently got moved into alphabetical order by title! (Also, a couple of things that were in other sections of the 2004 PDF are in this section now. I don't know if that was by design.) From the wiki: Ardour Basics This is a placeholder for some text to serve as a good intro to this section. * Clocks * Getting Audio In, Out and Around Your Computer * Other Windows * Sessions * The Editor * The Mixer * Tracks and Busses * Windows In the 2004 PDF manual, the subsections of Ardour Basics appeared in this order: JACK Sessions Tracks The Editor The Mixer Other Windows | ||||

I'll fix this. The drupal book feature sorts the subsections alphabetically unless they are given different "weights". |
