| Description | goodmorning I noticed in my current running ardour, that there are some latency issues. I run a session with a little more then 20 tracks and about 10 busses. The drums have been recorded by someone else in Cubase and I imported the tracks and that works perfectly. Now I have allot of plugins on the drums. Some tracks are combined together to a bus, so I get 4 busses for the drums, which leads to 1 bus for the "drums total". If I run no plugins, nothing is wrong, but with the plugins turned on, I notice some latency in the 4 clicks the drummer makes with its sticks. Its like a short delay. So I guess its a latency compensation problem. | ||||

I just installed ardour 2, and it runs good, without the latency problem. So I guess this bug has been fixed allready |

there is no difference in latency handling in ardour2 versus ardour 0.99. latency compensation requires that the plugin correctly report any latency that it introduces into the signal path. quite a few ladspa plugins do not do this. what plugins are you using? |
