| Description | It would be nice if there was a convenient way (maybe in the context menu) to add range start and end markers at the start and end of the currently selected region. The range name should also be set to the region name by default. The menu entry could be named like "Add range markers". | ||||
| Additional Information | Currently the easiest way I know of to set range markers from regions in a track is this (which requires a lot of jumping between the editor and locations windows): 1) editor window: put playhead at start of first region (use the ` key) 2) open locations dialog 3) locations: add a range 4) editor: move playhead to end of region (ctrl-tab) 5) locations: click the rightmost "set" button; this sets the range ending to the playhead location. 6) editor: move playhead to next region start (tab). 7) repeat steps 3-6 for each region. | ||||

This has been implemented and is present in up-to-date versions of Ardour. (I'm unable to determine when it was done; it's been a while. |
