Summary0001167: Trimming imported audio causes freeze
DescriptionIf I do the following, I always get a freeze (ardour uses max cpu and never
becomes responsive again):

* Create a new session.

* Create a new stereo track.

* In the new stereo track, import three 2-channel float audio files (by right-clicking on a region and choosing "import". OR by right-clicking in the regions list and using "import" to make a coyp; it doesn't appear to matter).
So far so good - I can play, drag the regions around, etc.

* Attempt to trim the first region's start (by choosing "object" mouse mode
and using the region trim handle). Immediate freeze.

NOTE the files I am importing were created by doing "export session" from other Ardour sessions. I can ONLY reproduce this with float wav files of a certain length - at least 2 minutes. I have tried importing short (10-second) float wav files produced by sox, and have no problems with those so far.

Uploading a session that reproduces this behavior.
(I used sox to silence the files so it would compress to a reasonable size.
Inflates to 0000148:0000200 MB). All I have to do is start ardour, load this session,
and attempt to trim the start of the first region... freeze.

I notice that if I first delete the last region (using right click -> "destroy" to delete it permanently), the problem goes away.

This issue has been fixed in current CVS and it will be released in the 0.99.1 legacy release. Which will hopefully come soon.
