| Summary | 0001166: tons of xruns on startup, none after reconnecting | ||||
| Description | Running a very recent build of ardour CVS, Linux 2.6.14.3 with full preemption, jackd 0.100.7, I have a session which when loaded, 90% of the time, causes jackd to spew "exceeded estimated time" messages as ardour is doing nothing, having just loaded the session. If I restart or reconnect ardour to jack, usually the problem persists. However, if jack goes away while ardour is connected, either because I killed it or because the xruns did, and I then restart jack and reconnect ardour, I can run for days without a single xrun. | ||||
