| Description | I'm trying to Ardour on a G4 (1.67) with 1.5 gigs of RAM. I'm running OS 10.4.2 and when I doubleckick on Ardour to open it, the Adour menu bar loads then immediately closes. | ||||

I have also had a similar problem, using G5 iMac 20" 1.8mHz 768MB OS X System Version: Mac OS X 10.4.2 (8C46) Kernel Version: Darwin 8.2.0 Boot Volume: Macintosh HD I launch JackPilot (which will run when using built in audio but not when using my hardware interface - Edirol M100-FX) and than when I try to start Ardour the icon bounces a few times in the dock then disappears. |

Have you installled X11 from Tiger Install DVD ? That was my mistake. It's under Optional Installs on the DVD (not the main Install icon) Also you need Jack OS X running http://jackosx.com/ |
