| Summary | 0001053: differentiate between menus and status in the menubar | ||||
| Description | This one is a usability-issue I recogniced this morning: There is no difference (in look & feel) between the menus (File to Options) and the status-information (CPU-usage etc.), but there should be, otherwise users keep on clicking on the cpu-usage (perhaps trying to see another window where the usage is shown in more detail)... Apart from the fact that a menubar shouldn't be filled with other things than menus according to http://developer.kde.org/documentation/standards/kde/style/menus/index.html, I would suggest to add a little more space and perhaps a vertical line. Or align the menus on the left and the status on the right... | ||||

Thanks for the report. In current versions there is quite a lot of space, and an alignment separation. |
