| Description | when i import a file, ardour creates several identical stereo regions.the names aren't identical. it adds underscores to the name, the amount of which depend on the number of additional copies it creates. it also spews files in my project folder that are the same size as the imported file, tripling or quadrupling the used space. | ||||
| Additional Information | the file names (orig and new) and region names renick: the first file I tried: original file name was L1_S1_introductions_01.wav. Three regions are create, and the region names are: L1_S1_introductions_01, L1_S1_introductions_01_, L1_S1_introductions__ second file i tried, file name: lindsey.wav this one created four regions: lindsey, lindsey_, lindsey__, and lindsey____ in my project folder, sounds, there are corresponding wav files, same names with .wav at the end | ||||
