Summary	0001036: AMD64 Gentoo package
Description	Ardour is not working with the latest Gentoo portage for Athlon 64. Also, http://ccrma.stanford.edu/planetccrma/software/ does not have a working rpm for Fedora Core 4 AMD64.
Additional Information	I run the Open Source Center which employs Linux programmers in America, Ukraine and other countries. We are willing to devote one full-time dedicated programmer to help get Ardour working. The person I have in mind is a professional with experience writing Linux device drivers in C.

melodyman 2005-08-20 18:09 reporter ~0002307	As far as FC4 goes, I've only been able to get the cvs version of ardour to build with a couple of code tweaks here or there, but it does build. I've had no luck with the latest release. I was able to get everything to build then, bam, linking errors (which make me crazy). I have a spec file that builds the cvs version on an AMD64 for FC4 if anyone is interested.
