Summary0010349: ardour 9.5 stop after double click region
DescriptionI launch a session already built with ardou 9.5 with a kde neon that uses x11.
I double click on a region lunch. it opens a window piano roll that works very well.
Then I close this window/
I double click on an audio region.
At this moment, and there ardour freeze.
then ardour turns off and the following message appears: "La commande /opt/Ardour-9.5.0/bin/ardour-9.5.0 a rencontré une erreur fatale et s'est terminée. "
this bug is reproducible every time by following this approach

EDIT : In fact after closing the piano roll midi window, a simple click on an audio region makes freezer ardour
Additional InformationI use ardour in double screen
The mixer window is open on my second screen

I forgot to mention that I use ardour with jack2
I tested this bug without using a double screen: the bug persists
the bug only exists if you double click to open separate windows. there is no bug so you use the bottom dock

I could not reproduce the issue, could you get a backtrace (see https://ardour.org/debugging_ardour) ?

I'm sorry...
It's weird.
I reproduced in the suite 5 or 6 times the bug when I opened my session
then I opened my session again, without reproducing the bug and I used ardour "normally" with the bottom dock and I did some operations on my session.
Then after 20 minutes, I tried to reproduce the bug... the bug was gone.
Then I saved my session and restarted... and I did the bug step again...
But the bug is gone!!!
So should we close this bug report?

I myself have a vague recollection of a similar crash once recently, so maybe we'll see it again.
