| Summary | 0010342: Mixer - Bus Tracks - Uncheck left sidebar Tracks when use Show Sends | ||||
| Description | This might be too specific but I came across/was thinking about this when I noticed this issue mentioned here https://tracker.ardour.org/view.php?id=10341 In the Mixer, Bus tracks have a blue button that says `Show Sends` If you click on this button, it filters out mixer channels, only showing channels. I was thinking, if the `Track & Bus visibility` is currently the active view in the left sidebar. Maybe it could update based on the bus tracks `Show Sends` button being active? Maybe the Bus tracks name in the `Tracks` sidebar list would highlight, indicating to the user that bus track is showing sends. All the tracks/mixer channels that are currently being hidden would be unchecked (and maybe grayed out because they cannot be interacted with in this `Show Sends` mode) If these unchecked tracks were grayed out, this would make the current tracks that are being sent to that Bus track stand out to the user. The `Tracks` section has its own context menu. Could add an item to the bottom to Turn off Bus tracks `Show Sends` mode. Again just randomly thought this when analyzing the linked issue I came across. If this is too specific / too complicated to achieve / not agreed with, can close this suggestion. Thank You | ||||
