| Description | I made a post regarding this a while back (October of 2024) but never received any responses. I just closed that post found 0009829 and decided to create a new one. Ardour offers the ability for user to make a `Duplicate` of selected track(s). When doing so the `Duplicate Tracks/Busses` dialog appears, providing user with some options for creating duplicate track. I noticed that when a duplicate of a track is made, there are specific items that for some reason do not get duplicated. ITEMS THAT DO NOT APPEAR TO BE DUPLICATED -Automation tracks linked to track -`Inline Controls` shown in channel strip -Plugin window on screen locations (Ardour remembers where plugin windows are moved to on screen. Probably would not get added but would be nice if this would be able to be duplicated as well) These are just the items I am aware of currently, I imagine there are other items that do not get duplicated which should also be included. If any users are aware of any others, please mention. Suggesting to add on/off check boxes for the items mentioned in list above, as well as any other items that do not get duplicated along with track that I am not aware of, to the `Duplicate Tracks/Busses` dialog. Would make these on/off settings get remembered or be able to set (maybe in Preferences) so that user does not have to keep checking boxes each time a track is being duplicated. I would imagine if user is making a duplicate of a track, that they would want an EXACT duplicate of that track. I was just wondering if anyone would consider making this update? Thank You | ||||
