| Summary | 0010230: Mixer strip panner should be grayed if the Azimuth (etc.) is set to "Play" (-just like the fader). | ||||
| Description | Just like how a fader turns gray (etc.) if Fader Automation is set to Play, any Panner should change color as well. This would be very convenient to quickly identify which strips do and do not have active panner-related automation. And this might also help avoid user confusion such as: https://discourse.ardour.org/t/fixed-usererror-stereo-panning-doesnt-work-i-cant-figure-out/112976/7 (-Turned out one of their panner lanes was mistakenly set to Play... O___o : )) Thanks for considering, -J | ||||
| Additional Information | ... Also, it just occurred to me that right-clicking on a Panner does *nothing* if a panner lane is set to Play. -You probably should still be able to at least still right-click --> Bypass or Reset, if desired. (!) | ||||
