| Summary | 0010215: Audio Fades that meet or get to end of region 'lock' and cannot be moved again when SNAP is enabled. | ||||
| Description | When an audio region fade is dragged to the extreme other end with SNAP and BAR enabled, once it reaches the end, It is locked in place and cannot be adjusted. When two regions meet, they will lock as well. Latest GIT build as of today 2-27-2026 | ||||
| Steps To Reproduce | 1. New session 2. record blank audio for a few bars 3. make sure SNAP is enabled. I had mine on 'BAR' 4. drag audio fade to far right. 5. Try to move fade back left. It is locked, and cannot be grabbed and moved. Try again without going to extreme ends of region, and it works as it should. Also, when beginning and ending fade regions meet somewhere in middle, they lock as well. | ||||

@x42 This may be caused by commit 8acfe0e94a. Ardour 9.2 official works as it should. |

I was selecting the wrong Grab Points for the region. The icon shows if 'fade in' or 'fade out' grab box is selected. There is no issue. |

Grab points are opposite of what I though. Maybe the grab box graphic can be changed a little to help indicate if it is fade in or fade out ? But cursor already changes when hovering over point anyways. |
