I'd expect it to be as wide as needed to show all the meters (which can be many with multi-out instruments). Is the problem that it only changes size when re-selecting the track with multi-out instrument? |

Yes I would expect it to have the right size (whichever it is) from the start. That being said, neither size size strikes me as being particularly appropriate with the first one being obviously too narrow and the second wider than it really needs to be. |
