| Summary | 0010213: Crashes and/or visual glitches in fullscreen mode. | ||||
| Description | MacBook Air M1, macOS Tahoe When in native macOS fullscreen, some actions can cause the UI to glitch (sometimes to the point of being unusable, requiring a restart) or even crash Ardour at times. The issue is caused by a combination of : - Opening the left pane - Opening the right pane - Activating drawing mode These issues seem to come from not having enough space to display everything that's supposed to be drawn in the toolbar (the former two shift some elements, the latter adds some). | ||||
| Steps To Reproduce | For a minor visual glitch : - Open both panes and activate drawing mode - Go into fullscreen Result : right side of the UI is missing For a more incapacitating glitch : - Go into fullscreen with both panes closed, drawing mode off - Activate drawing mode - Open the right pane Result : the right pane is solid grey and unusable but Ardour usually stays functionnal For a crash : - Go into fullscreen with both panes closed, drawing mode off - Open the right pane - Activate drawing mode Result : spinning beachball and Ardour not responding | ||||
