Summary0010206: Track combiner has unpredictable behavior when there are many cuts and layers involved (video)

I've once again accidentally created a session that's super laggy because I forgot to do all my drum comping in a separate session and now there's just way too many regions. Can't just freeze the tracks because I'm not done mixing them yet, and once I am done I'll be done with the session itself.. so kinda moot point. The "combine" operation is buggy, and sometimes pulls up layers other than the top layer. I don't know why this happens. I did find a workaround in the meantime in any case. You have to select your regions specifically with ctrl+slick. Shift+click and click-and-drag both select EVERY layer whereas ctrl clicking only selects the top layer; this removes any room for ambiguity. It's just somewhat laborious. once your top layers are cleaned up you can just delete everything that's not the top layer and the session is cleaned of any comping leftovers. Only reason I don't start with that, is cause of the ridiculous amount of staircasing in the "stacked" view, it's hard to actually select them:

Steps To ReproduceHave a session with lots of comping and editing going on and then try to select all the tracks and just hit the combine button. It will randomly pull up layers other than the top layer; what you originally put together is NOT what you get when you hit the combine button.
