| Summary | 0010197: Mixer strip fader dB field automatically deselected when your mouse leaves the strip | ||||
| Description | As indicated, this is "trivial", yes, but nonetheless annoying. I often click on the fader dB number to manually set it, and then immediately, habitually *move the mouse out of the way* so I can see the new dB number I type in. Well, if you do that too carelessly and your mouse *leaves the strip*, then the dB value is automatically *deselected*... ...and then you begin typing, and nothing happens to the dB value, but usually some setting is flipped/adjusted (like Slide -> Ripple if typing a "1", Snap Off -> On if typing a "4", etc.). So, is it possible to keep that dB selection once you click/select it, no matter where your mouse goes, until you explicitly click somewhere else? Thanks for considering! -J | ||||

Again, trivial. ... I *expect* the mouse to be there (obscuring my view) when I start typing, but I can see now that it does in fact disappear when you start typing. O__o haha Nevertheless, auto-deselecting anything is kind of annoying once you've specifically, explicitly selected something. |
