Bottom panel is deactivated, click on an audio region opens it (the button in the toolbar stays not-active, see screenshot)
selecting a MIDI region is OK
Steps To Reproduce1. deselect bottom panel visibility
2. select an audio region

With rc5 it works as supposed to.

Please check in Edit > Preferences > Editor what the preference is for region editing ...

All/any of these three results in this bug's behavior.
-Bottom pane appears when selecting a single region regardless of whether or not it's disabled (-as per the top-right, show/hide button).
