Summary0003767: Glame high/low/band pass filter: Cutoff Frequency wrong value
DescriptionThe Glame high/low/band pass filter plugins have a wrong cutoff frequency range.

For example in Ardour 3, the Glame Highpass Filter displays a cutoff frequency from 1.569 to 9.980. In Ardour 2, the exact same cutoff frequency goes from 4.800 Hz to 21600.000 Hz.

Should be fixed in SVN.

Now the cutoff frequency cannot be set at all and is stuck to 0.

Sliding the mouse cursor over the slide bar doesn't change the cutoff frequency.
Double clicking and entering manually a number is ignored by Ardour.

Indeed, my patch broke that.

Back to square one, the Glame high/low/band pass filter plugins have a wrong cutoff frequency range.

The Glame highpass still works for me. What cutoff range are you seeing with that plugin?

Unfortunately, I cannot test that bug anymore...

For the past few SVN update, I can't compile Ardour3 anymore.
I get the following error:

Checking for new JACK latency API : missing - a version of JACK that supports jack_port_set_latency_range() is required to compile Ardour3

Looks like I need a more up to date version of Jack2, but don't seem to be able to compile the latest version of Jack2 SVN either...

Currently you need to compile Ardour 3 against JACK 1 version 0.120.1. No other released version of JACK will work.

Hi cth103

Ardour 3 Alpha 4, finally downloaded and setup :)

I just tried the LV2 Glame Bandpass Analog Filter, and the problem is still there.

LADSPA version doesn't have this issue.

This should be fixed again in SVN 9848.
