| Description | using the Z key to zoom to a region gives a different result when zooming in to a region or zooming out to a region. If zoomed a long way in such that only part of the selected region is visible, when the Z key is pressed the selected region is fitted to the editor window correctly. I.E. with a small amount of empty space before and after the region. If zoomed out a long way such that multiple regions are visible on the track, when the Z key is pressed the selected region is centralised and takes up about one half of the editor width. I.E. the amount of padding space before and after the selected region is about one quarter of the editor width. This is different and wrong in comparison to the above description. | ||||

After more investigation it seems that the amount empty space placed before and after the region that is being zoomed to is proportional to the amount you zoom in or out prior to using the Z key. If you zoom a long way in then not much padding is placed before and after the zoomed region. Conversely, the further out you zoom prior to using the Z key, the more padding is placed before and after the zoomed region. So, if you zoom a long long way out the zoomed region will only be enlarged by a very small amount. |
