| Summary | 0009835: Ace Fluid Synth - Still uses soundfont even after it has been replaced with another | ||||
| Description | I know that the Ace Fluid Synth plugin is not an area of concern to developers, I think it is a great plugin overall, but really could use/benefit from some updates. But for now I will just share some posts of a couple of possible bugs I have found, I will post them separately but I think they could be based on the same issue. Issue: It appears that if you open a soundfont1 and then replace that soundfont2 with another, that the first soundfont1 still remains the active. Thank You | ||||
| Steps To Reproduce | -Add a fresh ACE Fluid Synth plugin into your session, it loads with no soundfont loaded. -Load up a soundfont1 and play a couple notes (get familiar with the sound of the instrument) -Then replace this soundfont with a different soundfont2 (ideally a completely different instrument/sound) -When you start playing some notes you will hear that the first soundfont1 is the one that is playing even though it is no longer loaded. | ||||
