| Summary | 0009366: MIDI tracks don't bounce corectly if there is a tempo change in the project. | ||||
| Description | I have project files with a tempo change. If I create a midi region in a place after the tempo change happens and bounce it to the Clip Library, when placed onto the timeline the region is smaller than the original and the notes are spaced closer together so that the sequence plays out faster than it should. | ||||
| Steps To Reproduce | - Create an empty project - Add a tempo change (for my example the project starts at 88BPM then changes to 120BPM after 5 bars) - Create a MIDI region in an area after the tempo change and place some notes - Open the context menu for the MIDI region, then Bounce (without processing) to the Clip Library - From the Clip Library (or sources list) drag the bounced clip onto the timeline somewhere after the tempo change - The placed region will be smaller than the original and the sequence of notes will be spaced closer together than they should be, therefore playing faster than the original region - Take that same region that you placed from the Clip Library and drag it to an area prior to the tempo change. The notes will not line up with the tempo markers for the 88BPM section but they will be correctly spaced so that the sequence plays at the expected speed that the original does at 120BPM. | ||||
