| Summary | 0009222: Cursor unresponsive when in editor timeline below all tracks | ||||
| Description | In the editor view, there is a thin line that follows your cursor (or snaps to nearest grid if grid snap is enabled). This line freezes in place if the mouse cursor goes below the last track in the project. Once in this frozen state, the line does not follow the cursor even when moving the mouse back onto a track. It does, however, unfreeze if the mouse goes onto the main UI at the top or onto the track's fader/mute/solo/automation/group header. See attached animated gif for this behavior. Related, though possibly a different bug -- when in that frozen state, using the keyboard allows switching between grab mode, range mode, and cut mode, but switching to draw or edit disables the keyboard from choosing grab, range, or cut until unfrozen. | ||||
| Steps To Reproduce | 1) open any project or create a new project 2) go to the editor view 3) move the mouse over any track on the timeline and notice that the thin ruler follows the mouse 4) move the mouse below all other tracks and notice that the ruler no longer follows the mouse | ||||
| Additional Information | I'm unsure if this is unique to my system/graphics setup, so here's some info just in case.
