| Summary | 0008805: Mixbus AND Ardour steal Alsa and do not return on close |
|---|
| Description | This occurs on Arch Linux, the main outputs are used by Ardour/Mixbus and then not returned on close. Tested across hdmi and 3.5 audio. |
|---|
| Steps To Reproduce | Open Ardour/Mixbus, select Alsa as sound backbone. Close and play audio without success. |
|---|
| Additional Information | If you are using the alsa-restore systemd unit file, restarting this service after close will restore audio to main outputs.
Have not tested with systems opting for the alsa-state systemd unit file. |
