Description | When I add a midi track (no matter which synth) right click > automation > show all automation ardour freezes and doesn't respond. | ||||
Steps To Reproduce | create MIDI track > right click > automation > show all automation. Happens every time. | ||||
Additional Information | I use latest arch linux, I installed ardour from aur, then tried ardour-git (from aur) and downloaded source code and built it myself. The bug happend every time. | ||||

With16 MIDI channels, and 128 Control-Change parameters per channel, pitch-bend etc, this will result in over 2000 automation lanes to be displayed Ardour eventually recovers if you let it run long enough. 6.3.1 speeds this up a bit (it takes around 20 sec here to show all those lanes now), and 6.3.2 now asks if you really want to display all those lanes.. |
