Summary0008294: When in internal edit mode for midi, sometimes selecting a note includes a previously selected note
DescriptionWhen doing midi edits, the hot-key E sets the editor view into internal edit mode. From there the user can use the mouse to extend or contract notes, or move notes in the midi clip. When operating on another note, if one note is already selected/highlighted, sometimes the mouse pointer is able to move/extend/contract the midi note of both notes. Usually once a note is highlighted, when using the mouse pointer to select a different note, the previously selected note is deselected/dehighlighted, and in this manner, only the current note selected is operated on.

To mitigate this, i have to consciously select an open portion of the clip to deselect any notes and proceed with the note selection.
