| Summary | 0008143: Playhead sometimes stops, actually reverses a bit, then gyrates at plugin automation points |
|---|
| Description | In a session with an audio track and multiple plugins, the playhead will get to a certain spot (with automation points) and halt. It will actually "boing" back a bit as well, then sort of shimmy in place a bit. It's like the playhead has gotten confused about what it's doing.
Here's a video of it happening: https://youtu.be/j5QRa1yEcJ0 |
|---|
| Steps To Reproduce | Not exactly sure, but it seems to happen when there are two plugins (in my case, GxAxisFace and GxSD1) that have *identical* automation points to activate. By "identical", I mean that the automation points from one lane were copy+pasted to the second lane. |
|---|
| Additional Information | Doesn't always happen, even when the automation lanes stay the same. And it *seems* (although not sure) that if you click the playhead elsewhere, play the session, then reset to the beginning and start over, there will be no hangup.
Sorry I can't be more specific. I can provide a sample session of this upon request. (copyrighted material) |
