| Summary | 0008098: Add notes to points in time, on a given track | ||||
| Description | When I work through a mix (and granted, I'm a beginner for sure, so I don't really know what I'm talking about), as I am getting the rough mix into shape, I will often have ideas like "this track should ramp up here", or "a big reverb over this part would be great". So, I would find it useful to add a comment to a particular point on the timeline, ideally for a specific for a given track (or even bus, when it comes to automating velocity ramps etc). If doing it per track is a pain, then potentially adding notes to regions would be a workable compromise, so if I have a region called Pre-Chorus, I could right-click and add notes to it (much the same as you can add comments to a track). I guess the main thing that distinguishes this from adding comments to a track, is these are associated to a point, or window, in time. | ||||
