Summary0008033: EQ10Q doesn't open the GUI in official build, but does work in unofficial Arch build
DescriptionI guess the title says it all.

I've switched back to an official build to check if an issue I was experiencing in an unofficial Arch Linux build was present there too - and I've found an issue I don't see in unofficial build.

When using the EQ10Q plug-in, the GUI will never open.

I use that plug-in constantly, so I switched back to unofficial build where it works fine.

This is due to a conflict of GTK used by ardour and EQ10Q. There's nothing we can do about.
EQ10Q devs solved this by not moving away from GTK, but by providing binaries that use the same GTK libs as ardour.

Most other plugin-devs meanwhile moved away from GTK, QT.

It's a known issue that is not fixable on our side.
