| Summary | 0007841: UI freezes when stopping audio capture, recording continues - corrupted session? | ||||
| Description | Yesterday during a livestream (with 40~50 people watching, argh) I had Ardour crash 3 times whenever I wanted to stop an audio capture. I've used xkill to stop the frozen Ardour windows, but later I discovered that Ardour processes were still running in the background recording audio. I don't know if that's related, but now any time I try to play a certain part of that session Ardour crashes. Maybe that's not related, but I had my machine RAM-starve and crash two times with this session being opened. Maybe the session file got corrupted somehow? | ||||
| Additional Information | Here's the entire session: https://we.tl/t-5CG0tqPZW0 In the audio interchange there's huge audio files that were being captured after I thought I already killed the frozen Ardour instances. I'm also attaching just the .ardour file of the session - maybe it has some traces of what's wrong? | ||||
