Summary0007552: a-Fluid Synth user-created presets does not save MIDI programs
DescriptionWhen using the a-Fluid Synth plugin, changing default MIDI programs in different channels and saving under a preset, loading the preset doesn't bring back the new MIDI programs previously chosen.
Steps To Reproduce1) Attach a-Fluid Synth to a MIDI bus
2) Load a soundfont
3) Change default programs for some/all channels
4) Click 'Add' button to create a new preset and press 'Save'
5) Change again the programs
6) Try to reset them using the new preset by selecting it from the drop-down and clicking 'Reset' => The programs remain unchanged.

This is expected behavior.

MIDI programs (patch changes) are part of the track or MIDI-region, they can change at any time during playback. It does not make sense for a Plugin to save them.

In Ardour MIDI tracks keep track of MIDI-patch changes.
