| Steps To Reproduce | Open a session. Select menu "Session->Archive...". Click OK. Click menu "Session->Open". Select "Session Archive" from drop-down selector. Select previously saved archive and press Open. Expected behaviour: session opens. Actual behaviour: Error messages: Session "D:\Sound\Ardour (snapshot Test Session_2017-05-24_190647.tr.xy)" did not load successfully: Failed to load state. | ||||

I have manually extracted the archive and it seems the issue is with the creation of the archive. The FLAC file are many times too large in size, e.g. 1,460,595KB instead of 291KB (when opened and resaved using Audacity). The FLAC file does not play properly. The session (.ardour XML) is also 1,460,595KB. This looks like the XML file concatenated with the FLAC file (or part of it). Creating a new archive takes quite a long time and the resulting file is substantially larger than the original session folder contents. Perhaps the title of the issue should be changed to, "Error creating archive". (I do not have rights to change title.) |
